Q:  Can I use my existing wireless network that I already use for multiple computers, or do I have to use your modem for your equipment to work? I have 3 phones in my home.

A: You will need to connect the Vonage phone adapter to your existing modem/router for Vonage to work (see how Vonage works for more information).   Vonage does not work over wi-fi, the phone will need to be physically attached to the Vonage phone adapter.  However, you can use cordless phones with Vonage, which will allow you to use the phones away from the phone adapter.

You didn’t indicate whether the 3 phones you have are cordless or not, but if you’d like to use multiple phones with Vonage, cordless phone are the easiest option.  This is because you can plug the base unit into the Vonage phone adapter, and the satellite handsets can be placed wherever you want throughout the house.
