A: No, your computer doesn’t need to be on at all for Vonage to work. Vonage operates completely separately from your computer, unlike services such as Magic Jack and Skype that require you to use a computer to make calls.
With Vonage, you use your existing phone (cordless or with a cord) to make and receive calls just like you would with a standard land line phone service.
